Tara provides leadership through strategy and coordination work with career services units and campus leadership. She believes believe all aspects of career services work should be grounded in social justice, which drives her approach to leadership and guiding UW-Madison to advance its career services priorities. Tara is an active member of ACPA-College Student Educators International, where she currently serves on the Governing Board.
Previously, she worked on campus as a Career Advisor in the Wisconsin School of Business and as the Experiential Education Coordinator at SuccessWorks in the College of Letters & Science. Tara received a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from The Ohio State University, and her Master of Arts in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University. Outside of work, you can find her trying new restaurants in the Madison area, playing sand volleyball, or trying to improve her watercolor painting skills.
