Helping Skills and Practice: November Session

Fri, November 14 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am

Helping Skills and Practice is a monthly series of interactive workshops designed for staff members working in advising, career services, and learning support, and can be especially helpful for new community members. This workshop offers a space to strengthen foundational skills and explore key theories that inform and guide our work with students.

Participants will engage in hands-on activities, peer discussion, and practical exercises that can be applied directly to day-to-day work. Whether you’re looking to deepen your understanding or refresh your approach, this workshop provides a collaborative environment for growth and reflection.

???? November Session Topic: Using templates to save time! We’ll discuss how using templates can cut down on repetitive tasks and help you stay organized.

Helping Skills and Practice is offered monthly throughout the semester, with each session focusing on a different foundational skill and we encourage participants to register for and attend as many sessions as possible. View the additional Helping Skills and Practice session dates and register here.
