Data Literacy and Responsible Use Training

Tue, February 17, 2026 from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm

Interested in learning more about how we navigate, access, and use data responsibly in our roles as academic advising, career services, and learning support professionals?

Join us for Data Literacy and Responsible Use Training, a fun, interactive workshop designed to build your confidence in working with data. We’ll start by developing a foundational knowledge of data literacy and highlighting the tools and support available across campus. Then, we’ll apply these key concepts we’ve learned through group case studies—focusing on how to use data responsibly and effectively.

Registered participants must take the 30-minute virtual Data@UW training prior to attending this in-person training workshop.

Note: If you are unable to attend on this date, the Data Literacy and Responsible Use Training will be held once per semester.
