BAT supports the advising and outreach efforts of all faculty and staff who serve undergraduates and prospective students interested in majors or careers in the biological sciences.
The committee provides a forum which facilitates community building, information sharing, and the collaborative development of initiatives aimed at increasing advisor and student awareness of bioscience opportunities. BAT works with the Office of Academic & Career Success to identify and address issues relevant to the bioscience advising community.

BAT Impact
BAT meets twice per semester. In addition to the semesterly meetings members of BAT participate in collaborative programming efforts. All advisors that serve students interested in the biological sciences are welcome to join the BAT community.
